About Orlando de la Garza

Orlando de la Garza is a San Francisco-based multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work explores topics of gender expressions, sexuality, religion and cultural identity, and celebratory portrayals of minorities through various mediums including painting, digital, video and performance. de la Garza completed his Master of Fine Arts program at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design, and holds a dual major degree in Painting and Communication Design from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. His most recent shows and collaborations include participating in exhibitions and panels at the San Francisco Arts Commission, the LGBT History Museum, and the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts.
